This page explains how ProjectRoll stores workspace records, protects uploaded media, and controls private share access.

What ProjectRoll stores

ProjectRoll stores workspace, project, section, media asset, share link, report, package, and activity records needed to run the product.

Uploaded files are stored in private Supabase Storage buckets. The app uses temporary signed URLs for display instead of public buckets.

Workspace members can create share links for projects, sections, or selected photos. Stopped or expired links should no longer grant access.

ProjectRoll favors archive and restore workflows so teams can remove records from active work without losing context too quickly.
